  5. 1 Remove Battery and Antenna.
  6. 2 Remove the four battery plate screws.
  7. 3 Remove the screws from the back of the radio and separate the 2
  8. halves.
  9. 4 Solder a diode in the location shown below.
  10. 5 Reset the microprocessor.
